How
to get to the Borderline
The Series'
home is the secret and wonderful Demmitt Cultural Society hall. Since
1980 this hall has been the home of some of the wickedest square dancing
in the Dominion. Although famously described "as being on the edge
of a town that no longer
exists", it is actually easy to find.
From
Grande Prairie (60 min), Beaverlodge (35 min), Hythe (15 min):
Drive west along Highway 43. Turn south (left) after you see the sign
to Demmitt (Range Road 132). Go past the first intersection, over the
tracks. The hall is located at the first left.
From
Dawson Creek, Pouce Coupe:
Drive east
along Highway 43. Turn south (right) after you see the sign to Demmitt
(Range Road 132). Go past the first intersection, over the tracks. The
hall is located at the first left.
